- My thoughts are I need to pour concrete footings and install 2 support columns and a beam in the crawl space in the center of the kitchen (this part has been done on a temporary basis with concrete block columns, bolted together 2x6s for a beam, and no concrete footing), and then pour a leveling compound on the floor in the kitchen before using concrete backer board and installing the tile. However, if there is a better/more efficient way to achieve the needed result, I would be very open to other approaches. | ||
