Both are medium-large trees. One is a pine, the other is an oak. The pine will be easier to remove than the oak because its very, very close to the wide driveway access, but both need to be removed. We are under Dekalb County, which is much more lenient about tree removal than city of Atlanta. 2) Grade our backyard and install retaining wall. Our backyard slopes slightly down all the way to the end of the property. Its not a steep dropoff, but it does dropoff 10-12\" over 80\" of property (a gradual decline). We would like a retaining wall installed in the center line of the backyard so we can have TWO level tiers of yard to use. Ideally use stone, but we are on a BUDGET!! so if we MUST, landscape timbers can do too (so long as they are grade #1 timbers treated).
